Wefapress Beck + Co. GmbH, founded in 1895 and based in Vreden, Germany, is a family‐run leader in engineering plastics. From its early beginnings as a pick device factory under the name “Westfalia,” the company has evolved through innovations like press-sintering to become the world’s first manufacturer of PE-UHMW processed using that method.
Today, Wefapress produces a broad range of semi-finished products, profiles & guides, and customized components made from plastics such as PE, POM, PA, PET, PTFE and more.

At Wefapress®, we are proud to have worked within the paper industry for many decades. Our years of experience and implementation of practical applications have enables us to develop high quality products that are bespoke to the pulp, paper, tissue, cartonboard and nonwoven industry. Thanks to the press-sintering process that we use, we can ensure a stress-free internal structure which eliminates bowing. We are experts for production of huge components with up to 2,5 meter in diameter or with a length of up to 10 meters without any weld seams. We create everything, from the highly resistant sheets, milled covers (that can have drilled or slotted perforation patterns) as well as fully finished parts. We guarantee first class quality at every juncture.
Our products are manufactured homogeneously from premium, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW). For the customers in pulp and paper industry, we only use our virgin material.By using lubricants and specialist additives we have achieved the optimal qualities specifically for this material application.
