At a deinking plant, ECOFARIO has successfully started a long-term trial with its High-G-Combi Line for the recovery of valuable fibers from fine reject streams. Operating at a flow rate of 25 m³ per hour, the system continuously demonstrates its capability to recover more than 50 % of fibers previously lost in the reject – without any negative impact on machine performance or product quality.
The trials mark an important milestone in the development of sustainable and resource-efficient paper recycling processes. Fine rejects from deinking plants are typically challenging due to their high content of contaminants.
