Tasowheel completed consecutive deliveries to KCPM Ukraine

KCPM Enhances Quality with Tasowheel’s New QCS Equipment

Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill (KCPM) chose Tasowheel to deliver new QCS and profiling equipment for their board machines to further improve the quality of their products.

These latest deliveries reflect the success of past projects, marking key milestones in a history that began in 2012. Tasowheel (Scienta) completed its first project that year with the introduction of a 9110 scanner for PM2. Over the years, this was followed by three additional scanners for various machines.

The latest scope of supply featured the 1010 model scanner (BM2), equipped with basis weight and moisture sensors, alongside a new complete moisturizer system (BM1); which was integrated with the existing Tasowheel -Scienta 1010 model scanner.

The machines: BM1 produces different types of cardboard, with a basis weight range of 130-540 g/sqm2 at a production speed of 115-380 meters per minute (m/min). Bm2 produces fluting, test liner & liner, with a basis weight range of 60-300 g/sqm2 at a production speed of 710 meter per minute (m/min).

The scanner startup was completed in Q4 2024, followed by the moisturizer startup taking place in Q1 of 2025.
